Updated Screenshots Page

Since I haven’t did too much lately that I haven’t already posted about besides mapping, I decided to update the screenshots page.  The page is still a 6×2  format with thumbnails that includes more up to date screens lately.

The World and It’s Residents

I have finally got around to writing “The World” section of the game, and during part of it I went a bit off track and talked about people.  It’s something I tend to do often in my writing, I’m going to try and change that.  I’m actually quite proud of myself for writing this, which took not too long, because I think it’s well written and about 320 words.  Well, for now you can find most writing except for character biographies on the “About” page, I may add more pages at a later time.

Updated Isabel’s Character Biography

I updated Isabel’s Character Biography, Skipping Jacob’s because I’m not quite sure about him at all yet.  I may remove him completely, who knows.  But for now, you can check out Isabel’s more in-depth biography on the Characters page.

Updated Xerxes Character Biography.

I have updated Xerxes’ character biography to be longer, more thorough and detailed.  It now matches Sapphire’s and is fit to be in RPGVX’s Project Development Forum.  Sadly, this is the only one that is formatted like that, so the “In Progress” sign is still up.  With this, the progress will be updated a bit too since he is such an important character.  For now, happy biting Sapphire, and have fun with Manipulation Xerxes.

Progress Page Updated

I have updated the progress page with percentages for every bar, along with the the overall for graphics.  I think the reason I have been dreading that was because it involved math.  But, I go back to school in a little over a week.  But, I will be working on the storyline more often then.  So posts will also decrease a bit, not too often though.  Also, you may have noticed that the Character page is under construction.  That is because I am formatting it, adding longer biographies, etc.  You can catch up on what’s going on there by looking at it daily.  Goodbye for now.

Final Titlescreen and Updated Site

Okay, so I finally got the title to look the way I want it, so for a while this is the finished product.  I also updated the header of the website to make with the newest logo.

 

And finally, you may or may not expect to see a demo soon, so just keep checking back, and wait!

New Logo and Titlescreen

So since I hated the logo I originally had, here is the newest one I came up with.  The background is from CLOSET.  I loved this font, it makes the “V” look really creepy and vampiric.

Revised Opening

Vampires.  Seen throughout many generations.  Seen throughout every corner of
the world, whether it be Europe, America, Africa, Asia, or anywhere else you
could imagine.  Seen sucking blood.  Seen dripping blood.  Seen with rabies.
Seen turning into bats.  Seen looking bloated from a recent feed.  Seen hididng
from light and garlic.  Seen being invited into houses, looking at you while
entering them.  Seen feeding off of cattle.  Seen feeding off of your neigbors.
Seen feeding off of your friends.  Seen feeding off of your relatives.
Seen in coffins, looking at you with their left eye.  Seen feeding off of you.
What can you say, you feel for their dirty little tricks, Sapphire.

So I revised the opening to make a little bit more sense and to make sure I wasn’t messed up geographical wise… since I haven’t had a single history class since June.  Also, I added in a word here and there.

Introducing Opening “Dream” Scene!

So since I wanted something to come before the game screen, I decided to go with a little “Dream” sequence.  Sapphire is dreaming, in which she is thinking about what happened before she turned into a Vampire, when she was once human.  This will play all the time when you load up the game, unless you hit a key to skip it.  So far, here is the dialogue at the moment.  This may not be permanent, it still needs a little bit of editing and revising.  This is a little bit of proof that I have did my research.  If you don’t believe me, check out some websites like Wikipedia.  So, here’s the dialogue:

Vampires.  Seen throughout many generations.  Seen throughout every country,
